Rev. Ruth Clarence is a retired teacher, former pastor wife and Christian Education Director for 30 years and is presently is a marriage counsellor.

Ruth has been been conducting the Preschool Program at Sonrise Camp for 25 years and loves teaching the precious preschoolers truths from God’s word!

She has been married to Simon for 37 years, is  a mother of 2 young adult children and four wonderful grandchildren.

Gina Sweitzer believes there is no “Junior” Holy Spirit! Her heart was first stirred for children encountering God at Living Faith Bible College when she read the book Children of Revival. Her passion for children to learn the meat of God’s Word, hear God’s voice and worship Him in spirit and in truth. She is a graduate of Kids in Ministry International School of Supernatural Children’s Ministry, has worked as the Children’s Pastor in the local church, led multiple VBS’ and served in camps for years.  Most recently, Gina graduated from Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry,  She is a huge fan of playing games, having fun, Worship and the presence of God!!

Born and raised in Ontario, married to a Newfoundland girl (Bessie) and have been happily married for 52 years. They have 2 married daughters and three grandchildren. He has experience in mining, construction, farming and has a deep passion and love for horses. Pastor Binnie started his ministry at forty years of age, at Marketplace Chapel in West Edmonton Mall. A storyteller preacher who came to Lighthouse church in 2001 and served as the Senior Pastor for 20 years. He has experience in counselling and personal ministry. He has since transitioned out of the pastoral role at the Lighthouse and now serves as an apostolic leader in the church. His ministry now continues as Camp Director for the SonRise Pentecostal Camp.

Our purpose is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.
This includes evangelistic ministry with preaching from the Word of God,
the printed page, and gospel music.

I'm married to Cheryl we have 3 daughters and 2 son-laws.  Paige and her Husband Alex live in Kelowna B.C.  Danae and her husband Devon live in Amsterdam, Netherlands.  Our youngest MacKenzie lives in Auckland, New Zealand.   We have been involved in pastoral ministry in the Okanagan for about 20 years, first on Kelowna's Westside at the Westside Alliance Church and then we started a Church in Peachland.  From there the Lord led us to New Zealand where we spent nearly 10 years with the Alliance there.  Which brings us to where we currently are having joined the Hinton Alliance Church family in October of 2016.  We love the church of the Lord Jesus and love shepherding and serving his people. 

Rev. Boniface Mgonja is an ordained minister with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada and has had over 18 years of pastoral ministry, church plant and church leadership experience from different parts of the world including Tanzania, Japan and Canada. He has been invited to speak in different parts of the world and God has been using him mightily to build the universal body of Christ. Married to Happy (a former Vanguard College student in Children Ministry), they have four great children, Joanne (20 years), Angel (19 years), Michelle (14 years) and Brian (9 years). The family moved to Canada in 2006.

A Canadian-Tanzanian Minister of the gospel, multi talented Musician , Pastor and worship leader, Music producer, Songwriter, Vocal coach, Radio presenter, Events organizer, Teacher of the Word, Mentor, Founder and President of "The Worshipperz Intl Ministries", with its head offices in Tanzania. 

 In 2011 he received his Advanced Diploma in Pastoral Leadership at AFMIN Institute of Pastoral Leadership (South Africa). 

 Being a pastors's kid, Peter was always around church and ministry environment , which inspired him as a child to play different music instruments, sing and without forgetting behaving in a good God fearing manner. 

Hango grew into music ministry and lived over 30 years spreading the gospel through Music ministry, preaching and teaching the Word around the world, having started working full time as a gospel musician at the age of 20, (which totals 30 years of full time ministry work to date).  

Working with several choirs in his teenage, he aftewards worked with famous Tanzanian bands like "Amana Vijana Centre" (AVC) band , "New Life Band" from 1997 to late 2016 where he recorded the most sold albums in Eastern and Central Africa “Kumsifu Mungu” and “Praise & Worship Explosion” with a popular song of “Yakobo” and many more albums thereafter.  

Through all these years he and his music and pastoral ministy, has ministered to people in the U.S.A, England, Scotland, Canada, East African countries and many more. 

Peter has worked with the famous South Africa's Soweto Gospel Choir and Joyous Celebrations ministers in concert workshops. 

He has also led praise and worship through music in big international annual gatherings of different international Christian organisations like World vision, And compassion international.  

Peter is a husband to his beautiful wife Grace, father of three children, Joshua, Jonathan and Glory, he also is a mentor to a large number of people especially youth. 

 As a minister of gospel all over the world, his mission and desire is to create an environment for the manifestation of God's presence and power through music, prophecy, teaching of the word of God and enable people especially youth in general to be a catalyst in the society. 

 His music and Ministry has touched the world and still is. 

Currently he is a Founder and President of The Worshipperz Intl Ministries, one of board of directors at Global Connect Centre ( GCC) and an associate Pastor at Impact Church in Edmonton Canada.

Ben was born and raised east of Millet and lived there until 1978 at which time he and his parents relocated to Wetaskiwin. Upon completion of high school, he entered college in Edmonton. After college, his road took him to Calgary, Brooks, Barrhead, Edmonton, Westlock and now Killam. During that time, he was involved in Youth ministry, Street ministry, Prison ministry, Chaplaincy, Cowboy Churches, Music and many other activities in the communities he resided in.

Ben is married to Tanny, and they have 2 married children and 4 grandchildren  residing in Edmonton and Fort McMurray.

In 2006, he was able to fulfill one of his childhood dreams by attending the Western Canadian School of Auctioneering. Over the past 16 years, he has had opportunity to auctioneer and subsequently, meet many wonderful people along the way.

He has a passion for music and has had numerous opportunities to pursue this intense interest via singing in a choir that traveled through New Zealand and Fiji, Edmonton’s Singing Christmas Tree, The Gospel stage at Big Valley Jamboree, singing the national anthem at an Edmonton Eskimo’s football game and The Alberta Legislature.

He also emcees numerous Country Gospel Jamborees during the summer.

He is the Pastor of 2 churches and is serving his second term as the Mayor of the Town of Killam.

Ben is enthusiastic about music and sharing the gospel looks forward to any opportunity he has to share his faith in Jesus Christ.

Pastor John and Roberta Greiner have been pastoring at

Bethel since 1993.

They both have the heart to serve their community and their church and help out wherever they can. Their passion for this church and this community is fueled by their love for people.  Many times it seems they have endless energy to help those in need of a listening ear or a warm meal.

Show up on almost any Sunday and Pastor John will teach you something you didn’t know about the passage he is preaching from.    When he is not in the church, you will find him fishing, hunting or fixing something in his garage.  He also loves hanging out with his grandkids.
